Order Shipping Conditions for Mainland Portugal

Orders are shipped on business days and are subject to the stock availability of the ordered items.

Order transportation is carried out by duly authorized companies such as GLS, DHL, TNT, SEUR or CTT.

Delivery time in mainland Portugal is usually fast, 1 to 2 business days (for orders registered by 2 PM on a business day), provided the item is available. If an item is not immediately available, the delivery time will be 5 to 7 business days. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays will be processed on the next business day. If these deadlines are expected to be exceeded, LXbattery will contact the customer to inform them of the estimated availability date of the item or to propose an alternative solution. LXbattery strives to meet delivery deadlines but cannot be held responsible for any delays resulting from the activities of shipping companies.

 

Shipping Conditions for Madeira and Azores

Shipments to the Islands are processed in a similar way, although in this case, delivery times may be longer as they are subject to the transport times of shipping companies to these locations, and in extreme cases, and depending on the locality, they can take 10 to 30 days to reach the final destination. In addition, certain types of batteries cannot be transported by air and must necessarily travel by sea. LXbattery cannot be held responsible for any delays in these transports.

 

In-Store Pickup Conditions

Picking up orders at an LXbattery point of sale incurs no additional costs; customers must await communication from the store confirming that their order is indeed ready for pickup.

 

On-the-spot Car Battery Installation Conditions (available in Lisbon and surrounding areas)

The car starter battery installation service is an express service performed by LXbattery technicians, at a pre-arranged and scheduled time. The installation service has the following costs:

Conventional starter batteries (for cars without start-stop system or similar)
- at our Lisbon store (Rua dos Soeiros, 330-B): 10€ (VAT included)
- with travel, up to 5km distance: 15€ (VAT included)
- with travel, up to 15km distance: 20€ (VAT included)
EFB or AGM batteries for cars with start-stop system or similar
- at our Lisbon store (Rua dos Soeiros, 330-B): 15€ (VAT included)
- with travel, up to 5km distance: 20€ (VAT included)
- with travel, up to 15km distance: 25€ (VAT included)
